In addition to its finishing capabilities, Metal Finishing Technologies Inc.’s operations include complete processing systems for cleaning and coating removal of aircraft/aerospace products. MFT has developed revolutionary chemical processes for selectively removing high temperature braze alloys and plasma applied wear-resistant coatings from aircraft gas turbine engine stator assemblies and other components. The flexibility offered by MFT allows for the development of new programs to meet the dynamic needs of the aircraft/aerospace industry.

STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY
Located in the geographic center of Connecticut, MFT operates a 78,000 square foot facility for Electroplating, Electroless plating, and Specialty cleaning.

ULTRASONIC AGITATION
Our custom-designed, high-tech tanks safely speed our parts through the Braze, Wear Coatings, Feltmetal or Honeycomb Removal process.

MFT CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGIES
A subsidiary of Metal Finishing Technologies provides the proprietary chemistry and support to allow us to offer some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry. SPC is monitored in out on-site laboratory, and our chemistry is custom blended to our own specifications.

TECHNICAL SERVICES
Our staff is trained to help you identify potential problems with braze removal caused by over-temperature braze application, etching in parent metal, and hidden damage (which may become evident as braze or coating material is removed)
