MFT utilizes barrel
and rack electroless nickel plating
techniques for this specialized process. The
advantage,
however, is found within the EN solution
which contains Teflon® particles.
Upon plating, the resulting uniform deposit
provides
for surfaces with low friction values
and excellent anti-stick properties.
NICKEL/CHROME
Metal Finishing Technologies,
Inc. offers decorative chromium finishing over
nickel plate on a variety of base metals. Nickel
plate is utilized in the process to give the
chromium a bright, white color and protect the
surface of the material from oxidation by the
chromium.
Chromium electro-deposit
is applied in thin coatings and is primarily
used for its protective and decorative characteristics.
The nickel/chrome finish is extremely corrosion,
wear, tarnish and scratch resistant. MFT provides
for rack plating of this specialized finish
to increase product quality while containing
costs. |
