perform specialty processing allows Metal

of its customers for delivery and quality. Large
volume barrel operations provide for maximum
productivity and economy, while rack and basket
processing are available to maintain the integrity
of delicate parts.
FINISHING OPTIONS
MFT offers electrolytic nickel
plating with differing finish brightness
to suit various product types and functional requirements. For
example, a semi-bright, low-stress nickel can be
used for engineering applications; while a bright,
high-speed
nickel can be used for cosmetic purposes.
BASE MATERIAL SUBSTRATES
All nickel finishes provided
by Metal Finishing Technologies, Inc. are able to
be processed on a variety of base material substrates,
including aluminum; copper, ferrous and nickel based
alloys; and zinc die cast. Due to this capability,
MFT is qualified to meet a wide range of plating specifications
and customer requirements.
ELECTROLESS NICKEL
Electroless plating
technologies are also available at MFT for nickel coatings. The
durable finish provides for superior wear and abrasion
resistance while maintaining a decorative appearance. Additional
advantages of electroless nickel (EN) coating include
corrosion resistance, solderability, weldability, uniform
deposit thickness and a machinable post-plating surface. |
