Metal Finishing Technologies, LLC (MFT) is pleased to announce they have dedicated, opened and certified 15,000 square feet of floor space in its Bristol, CT facility specifically in support of coating aero engine components, specializing in the PWA110 Series. This addition complements MFT's already established component stripping business. The newly dedicated area will support both the Land Based and Aero Engine suppliers and manufacturers in both the OH&R and OEM markets. The area is governed by MFT's ISO9000 and AS9100 certifications with the processes approved by both the FAA and EASA.

Former UTC Manager Returns To State To Revive Plating Company In Bristol

Peter Mirabello had come a long way from putting himself through Central Connecticut State University - at 35, he was a commercial director in Toulouse, France, at IAE, Pratt & Whitney's commercial jet engine manufacturing partnership with European and Japanese companies.

He'd been with United Technologies Corp. ever since he got his industrial technology degree, starting as a manufacturing engineer, moving to the finance side and, eventually, being transferred from East Hartford to France.
